OLD HOLLYWOOD HOGWARTS: Part 1

  • Katherine Hepburn in Gryffindor
  • Audrey Hepburn in Hufflepuff
  • Hedy Lamarr in Ravenclaw
  • Bette Davis in Slytherin

Katherine Hepburn was clearly a Griffyndor. Her “true to yourself” take on life is brave and honest, two things Griffyndors value most of all.

Audrey Hepburn was often described as kind, gentle, and loyal. Those are all very Hufflepuff traits, I think.

Not only was Hedy Lamarr a beautiful woman, but she was an intellectual as well. She helped invent “frequency-hopping.” Intelligence is important in Ravenclaw.

I know this one might ruffle a few feathers, but let me explain. I myself am a Slytherin, and a huge Bette Davis fan. Bette valued drive and ambition above all other things, and those are things Slytherins value too. They aren’t necessarily negative characteristics, and not all Slytherins are necessarily bad people. Bette certainly wasn’t.
